Location: Courtice Community Center
Need to Know: Traditional morning club ride. Routes will be determined at the ride start.
There will be a stop at a coffee shop or bakery. Normally 60 km distance with the option for more.
Suitable for C+ to B level riders.

Location: Courtice Community Centre
Need to Know: OCC's Signature Club Ride, with rides distances ranging from 35/40 km to 60 km and more.
Suitable for C to A level riders.
Up to three times during the summer, we will feature Pizza Nights with complimentary pizza and cold drinks.

Need to Know: This is a club ride offering C and B level rides. It will be used as a training ride for group riding, pace lines, and cycling etiquette.

Need to Know: Thursday Evening Signature Club Ride, with ride distances ranging from 35 km to 50 km.
Suitable for C level riders.

Richard’s Saturday Theme Rides
Rides start on April 25th 2026, on select Saturdays and continue throughout the riding season. There will be a different start location each week. Rides are typically 35 to 40 km in distance early in the season to around 50 km later in the season. This ride is suitable for C and C+ level riders.
Rides will be announced on the Club members only Facebook page and the cycleclubapp.

Gravel rides will start in May.
Different gravel rides will be offered throughout the season with remote start locations and various Ride Leaders.
Information will be posted on The Oshawa Cycling Club Gravel Grinders page.

Need to Know: The club regular Sunday Ride, rotating throughout the season with different destinations for a coffee/bakery stop. Normally the route distance will be 60 km with options for more.
Suitable for C and B level riders.

Please note: The Club’s Special Event Rides, such as the Lilac, Canada Day, Lake Simcoe Shoreline, are not available for test/trial rides or for former club members.

Category A+ Avg Speed 30+ kph
Category A Avg Speed 28 - 30 kph
Category B+ Avg Speed 26 - 27 kph
Category B Avg Speed 23 - 25 kph.
Category C+ Avg Speed 21 - 22 kph
Category C Avg Speed 18 - 20 kph
Special Events

Date: TBD
Time: 6 pm
Location: Osborne Road and Energy Drive, Courtice.
Need to Know: Meet at the corner of Osborne Road and Energy Drive. (park on Osborne North of Energy Drive). Three lap loop, 15.8 kms. This is not a group ride or race, but rather a chance to see your time improved over the course of the season, while riding the same route.

Remote Start Rides

PEC Lilac Ride
Date: May 2026
Time: 10:00
Location: Bloomfield Bicycle Company, Bloomfield, Ontario
Need to Know: Our Annual Lilac Ride around Prince Edward County. The ride begins at the Bloomfield Cycle Company. All ride levels are welcome. Distances will range between 40 to 106 km, with many optional cut off points.
Peterborough Lilac Ride
Date: Was held on Sunday, May 18th.
Time: 10:00
Location: Beavermead Park
2011 Ashburnham Drive, Peterborough
Description: 40 or 61 km, C or B level rides. There will be a stop at Young ‘s Point, for the longer version, where there will be washrooms and a store for purchasing refreshments. Post ride social at The Ashburnham Ale House.
